The Bluewater Guard Dog 18" SST Self-closing Safety Gate comes fully assembled and includes securing hardware for standard installation on pipe. Requires only a wrench and a few minutes to install. Compatible Applications range from rooftop entry points, ladder ways, mezzanines, pedestrian traffic, machine guarding, factory and workshop locations, and other job site locations requiring perimeter safety rail access points. The Bluewater universal mount is designed to fit any hand post angle and direction.

The 18 Inch Guard Dog Industrial Safety Gate SST from BlueWater Manufacturing has a unique self-closing design with two stainless steel torsion springs, allowing the GuardDog industrial safety gate to open in any direction. Meets multiple application needs with 5 nominal gate sizes available, and it's adjustable laterally to 6” (-3 to +3 of the nominal size).
The GuardDog Self-Closing Gate arm is dimensioned to match OSHA Guardrail Compliance with top and mid-rail heights. When the GuardDog Safety Gate is installed, the top of the gate is at the OSHA recommended height of 42” while the bottom of the gate is positioned at a height of 21”.
