FallTech 7479 Hinged Trailing Rope Grab Adjuster with 2" Connecting Eye for 5/8" Rope. The #7479 Hinged Self-Tracking 5/8" Rope Grab is made with rugged alloy-steel that features hinged construction for ease of attachment, as well as a positive lock and safety cam for superior safety. The threaded lock with positive secondary latch are secure and easy to operate, while the unique gravity-operated safety cam prevents improper attachment. The 2" eye makes for excellent connector compatibility and easy handling. This grab is for use with a 5/8-inch rope.

FallTech vertical lifelines are constructed of premium grade 8200 pound filament and spun polyester over a polyolefin core that provides low elongation and long wear life, abrasion, UV and chemical resistance, and yet stays flexible and renders sure grip and glide through our rope grabs. All of our Rope Grabs, whether manual or self-tracking, allow the user to move freely up and down the vertical lifeline while providing fall protection. These grabs are designed to react to a fall by locking on the lifeline and to begin the deceleration process when attached to one 3-foot shock absorbing lanyard.
