ACRO 6 Foot Chicken Ladder Sections #11601 Specifications and Instructions:
- Only for use on roofs.
- Always use fall protection in accordance with local, state and federal OSHA regulations.
- Max roof pitch is 16/12.
- Not an anchor point.
- Not for use with all ridge vents.
- Roofing Chicken Ladders are meant for use by experienced tradesmen having full knowledge in its use.
- OSHA regulations require that employer provide training in the use and care of this product.
Assembling the 11600:
- Attach hook (#11610) and up to 4 x (6) foot sections (#11601) using the provided 1 ½” bolt and reversible lock nut.
- Capacity: 250 lbs. Maximum
Instructions for Use of 11600:
- With the wheel on the roof, roll the ladder up the roof past the peak of the roof and turn the ladder over so the hook rests on the opposite side of the roof peak.
- The hook should be securely fastened on the other side of the roof when drawn back.
- The ladder should always lie flat on the roof.
Care and Maintenance of 11600:
- Inspect all equipment before and after each use to be sure that there is no damage or deformation to any of the equipment.
- Inspect to be sure there is no deterioration as a result of rusting. Discard if necessary.
- Always handle the equipment with care to ensure safe and lasting use.
