The BlueWater SafetyRail Low-Profile Outrigger Rail and Base kits are Galvanized, and used to continue a run of BlueWater’s SR2K SafetyRail 2000 when faced with obstacles like ductwork, conduit, and other obstructions that a standard guardrail cannot easily be installed through, or around.
Theses BlueWater SafetyRail Low-Profile Outrigger Kits are used to continue a run of guardrail sections like the SafetyRail 2000 when ducting or conduit piping does not allow for a rail section to be used. The Outrigger is placed under the object to continue the run, eliminating the needed outriggers when discontinuing the run. It can also be used as an outrigger when there is not enough space for a standard guard rail outrigger.
Note: It is not recommend to use the LP Outrigger as a standard outrigger, as it creates a trip hazard and should only be used when all other options are exhausted.
