The MRCA’s CERTA training program is ideal for contractors whose work involves torch applications. The full-day program trains experienced roof system installers on the safe use of roofing torches used to apply polymer-modified bitumen roofing products.Â
CERTAÂ Details:
For the Virtual CERTA Class: You will be emailed a virtual Zoom/Video Call link for the class as well as the necessary registration forms that need to be filled out and returned via email.
The Virtual CERTA Training will begin on Friday April 30th at 8:00AM (Eastern Standard Time) 7:00AM (Central Standard Time).

1. Complete the Online RegistrationÂ
- Purchase slot(s) here for $399.00 per person
2. Download Course Documents & Email your roster:Â
- Click the link in your receipt for this purchase (via email)
- Using the Excel template or a similar spreadsheet program, Email your attendee roster to info@TotalProSafety.com
- Document #1 that is included in the course materials provides the exact course requirements and process for completion
3. Make sure you have the proper equipment BEFORE your CERTA class date
- It is required that each participant uses a DETAIL TORCH (Example: MODI-SYSTEMS or SIEVERT) for the hands-on evaluation
- Open floor space is needed to complete your hands on evaluation
- Document #1, Pages 7-8Â (included in your email receipt)Â list the necessary equipment for the course
4. Participate in your CERTA CourseÂ
- A link to join your CERTA course will be emailed to you (similar to Zoom), prior to your course date
- A computer or tablet (with video & audio) is required to complete the online CERTA course
5. Complete the Hands-On Evaluation
- Complete your hands-on evaluation (by recording it on video via cell phone or other camera device) and email it to your trainer
- Recordings can be sent to Certa.Eval@mrca.org  or info@totalprosafety.comÂ
