Ladder Defender from BlueWater Manufacturing is a cost-effective, controlled access safety rail system for permanent rooftop access ladders. The Ladder Defender is an OSHA-compliant passive fall protection safety solution with a non-penetrating design. The BlueWater/Tractel Ladder Defender ensures safe and easy egress / ingress to and from the rooftop. Proprietary connector brackets attach to three different styles of the ladder frame to ensure that installation is always quick and effective.

The GuardDog Self-Closing Safety Gate is available as an option. The gate should be mounted on the rail sections farthest from the ladder, creating a safe environment at the ladder by reducing the possibility of the gate closing on a hand.
